Dose of Disney: Disney Tees

If you couldn't already tell, I'm obsessed with Disney. *no shame* Over the past few months I have discovered a TON of small shops and Etsy store owners who sell Disney apparel, accessories, and pretty much anything you can think of. Today, I wanted to share some of my favorite small and large brands and companies to get Disney themed t-shirts from.....
  1. Jambo Joe | Jambo Joe is a pretty new t-shirt shop that just opened by the adorable @shopjambojoe on Instagram. His shirts (the one pictured above) are way to cute for words! I've gotten a few shirts from him and I am obsessed. His are super subtle and are perfect for the parks or for everyday wear. That's what I love about his shirts! Click here to shop his shop.
  2. Pretty Little Monograms | Pretty Little Monograms is your monogram Disney headquarters. From Minnie Monograms to a ton of different characters she has it all! I've ordered a good amount of things from her shop and I love everything! She gets a lot of commissioned art work from Adam Grason (who I'm a huge fan of) for her apparel as well. If you love Lilly, Disney, and monogrammed anything she is your girl. Click here to shop this shop.
  3. Main Street Press | Main Street press is another great small shop. This husband wife duo has some super cute designs, including a Tale as Old as Time tee that I purchase. The specific tee even when kind of internet viral which is super cool! I've also picked up some other small things from her shop. They hand screen print all of the tees which is also super unique. Click here to shop this shop.
  4. Lost Bros Trading Co. | The coolest guys you will ever meet, the Lost Bros Trading Co. has great shirts for both guys and girls. I love their Life is Bubbles design and I have a few other things from there shop. Super unique designs with a little bit of an edge! Click here to shop this shop.
  5. Box Lunch | This big brand is a more approachable version of Hot Topic, in my opinion. They carry a TON of pop culture gifts, clothing, and more. My favorite items they carry are obviously all of their Disney tees and merchandise. I've gotten some SUPER cute tees, patches, keychains, and more from Box Lunch. Also, they carry Danielle Nicole bags and they usually go on sale (just saying). If you've seen my Toy Story alien pocket tee or my Be Our Guest pocket tee they are both from Box Lunch! Click her to shop Box Lunch.
  6. Jadelynn Brooke | Surprise, surprise, Jadelynn Brooke is on this list. I love JLB's tees and their new Disney designs are no exception! If you haven't checked out their new magical collection you need too! Super fun bright colors, designs, and phrases make Jadelynn Brooke's Disney inspired tees perfect for the parks or for day to day wear. Click here to shop Jadelynn Brooke.
These are just a few of many Disney tee shops I have purchased from! These are just a few that I have made repeat purchases from there shop. If you ever need a t-shirt suggestion for an upcoming Disney trip feel free to message me and I'll direct you to a shop that fits your style best! I've loved discovering the Disney community and Disney small shop world recently. It's given me the chance to get some super cute stuff!

What is your favorite Disney small, or large, shop? Let me know in the comments!

Snapshots: Disney x Coach Outlet

The Disney x Coach Outlet collection as EXPLODED in the Disney Instagram community. I had originally shopped the original collection online at Coach's website and picked up a small red crossbody bag and a little Mickey hang tag. Luckily I had picked up the bag at a discount as it was on sale on their website when they were trying to clear out the collection. But, when I saw they had created another collection, at outlet prices, I knew I had to stop by my Coach Outlet store.

So, my mom and I headed to the outlet mall to shop the collection when I learned Coach was doing 50% off your entire purchase, which included the Mickey collection. When we first walked into the store they had a huge Disney section. It took up most of the front half of the store. There were a ton of different shapes and sizes of bags being offered in the collection. I saw the same shape of my original Coach x Disney bag offered as well, but with the new Mickey logos.

Basically, the main difference between the bags from the original collection and the outlet collection was the Mickey's on the bags. These Mickey's were honestly kind of more fun the original ones showcased on the bags. Most bags were offered in either a yellow, red, brown, black, or white leather. They all had different Mickey's on them, except the white and black shared the same Mickey.

Some pieces were more edgy then the original pieces. Patch accents, studs, and bandanas were just some of the additional embellishments I noticed. Also, the collection had a more bad boy edge to it. For example, Mickey riding a motorcycle or a skate board versus him just standing or posing. They were super fun touches that made the collection just a little different, but still classic Mickey.

Around the outside of the Coach store were fun little sidewalk decals showing off the collection. Props to Coach because I think it caught a lot of people's attention who may not have known about the collection.

Shopping at the store wasn't as hectic as I expected. My Coach store used to be super small, but they recently upgraded to a larger location. So, it is much more organized, spacious, and upscale. There were a few people going crazy over the collection, but most people were purchasing one or two Disney x Coach items. My mom and I both got two pieces (we literally bought the exact same thing), but it seemed most people were just picking up 1-2 items per person.

As for what I picked up, I selected this brown saddle bag shape with this ADORABLE Mickey! He was by far my favorite Mickey offered in this collection. Also, I love the classic brown leather and this shape. This is Coach's signature shape so I found this combination of the Mickey, color, and style was the most classic and neutral. I wanted something I could carry around day-to-day not just at the parks. Since I purchased it I've carried it around quite a bit! It's a great small crossbody bag, but it has a lot of useful pockets and features. My favorite part is there is a small pocket on the outside where you can slide your phone in and out of for easy access.

I also picked up a little zipped wristlet wallet thing.... I'm not 100% sure what to call it. But, It is great to throw into smaller bags as a wallet, or to use as a mini wristlet if you just need some credit cards and very small essentials. It doesn't fit a phone, so it is more like a wallet, but it is super cute! I opted for the red shade with Mickey riding a motorcycle for something different and fun compared to my neutral purse.

Supposedly the collection is only going to be available until early June. SO, if you really want to get your hands on something go now!! Call ahead to make sure they still have items in store!

I hope you enjoyed this look into the collection! Did you shop the Disney x Coach Outlet collection? Let me know what you picked up in the comments below!

OOTD: Tale as Old as Time

I'm mixing up Wednesdays post for a Tuesday post because.... the Beauty and the Beast live action film is released today on DVD! As you all know, I am a huge Beauty and the Beast fan. So, in honor of the release I have a fun Disney inspired look that is perfect for everyday wear.

The main feature of this look is this amazing completely custom denim jacket. This jacket has kind of a cool story. I saw it at the Disney Springs Levi store and I fell in love. It was pricey but I loved it and kept thinking about it after I saw it. I ended up purchasing the jacket on my last day in Disney, literally an hour before we left for the airport! Turns out I found the artist who created my jacket on Instagram. Sugar Sews creates 100% custom embroidered denim jackets. Her work is truly incredible. I was so excited to find her on social media and to thank her for my incredible jacket. It kind of combines everything I love about Beauty and the Beast. Chip and Mrs. Potts are my favorite characters, I love French, and it has my favorite color purple! It truly worked out that it was in my size and fit me perfectly.

So, although I picked up this jacket at Disney Springs, if you'd love a custom jacket like this you are in luck! Sugar does custom orders through her website and you can create ANYTHING you want! Even if you aren't a Disney fan she can create anything.

Just so you know, this isn't a sponsored post. I just really admire Sugar's work and more importantly I wanted to show off my amazing jacket that I am in love with. Sadly I couldn't snap any pictures of it at Disney, because I bought it on my last day. But, I wanted to share it because it is so amazing!

I love styling this jacket with my collection of Beauty and the Beast themed pins. These little buttons are from Box Lunch then the coffee cup pin is from Parkbound Buttons. Box Lunch is an amazing store that carries a ton of pop culture items, including Disney! I've gotten a ton of stuff from them recently. Adding pins or flair to any denim jacket is a great way to customize it and make it your own.

I love wearing a denim jacket to spice up a super simple outfit like this. A simple tan skirt with a white tee allows this statement jacket to stand out and make a statement. Not to mention Levi denim jackets are super thick and durable, which makes them great for throwing on for colder summer nights or for the fall and spring. I've been wearing denim jackets a lot recently. I had a super old one in my closet that I am now wearing on repeat. The great thing about denim jackets are that if you have a great classic one, it will never go out of style!

Dose of Disney: Disney in March, review and what you need to know!

Today I'm talking about Disney in March, aka Spring Break season. We'd never gone to Disney for Spring Break before. Usually we take our family trip during the first week in January. We thought that was busy. That was child's play compared to March. It was insanity! So, I wanted to give a few tips and go through what it's like to go during Spring Break time. Luckily, I'm graduating so I won't have to worry about the constricting schedule of going to school. This means I'll never have to go in March again. But, in case you are still in school or are planning a trip around your child's schedule, here are some of my insights on Disney in March.....

Crowds | During spring break the crowds were unbearable! Almost everyday was a madhouse. Not to mention normal spring breakers there were also many events going on like a cheerleading competition, music days, and more. We found that going, at our usual time, during the first week in January right after Christmas was less crowded!

Wait times | Wait times all depended on what time you get to the parks. I highly suggest going at park opening and for early magic hours. When we arrived for early magic hours we were able to get a lot done before the big crowds. Also, arriving at opening is always a good idea. You can get in a ton of rides before everyone strolls in at 10am. After about 10 or 11am wait times were already pretty long. Big rides like Space Mountain and Mine Train were at 90mins. So, be sure to get your fast passes as well, and get them for earlier in the morning. Also, keep checking back for new fast passes throughout the day. Even if you can get fast passes for smaller rides it is still worth it.

Character lines | Meet and greets for characters weren't to bad of a wait. We always get the fasts for the Character spot in Epcot which goes by super quickly! I'd say they averaged from 15-35 min depending on the character and when you stepped into the line.

Flower & Garden | Flower & Garden Festival was one of my favorite parts of the trip! Be on the lookout for a more extensive Flower & Garden review. During my spring break it was the second week of the festival so it was pretty crazy, but we couldn't tell if it was crazy for the festival or for spring break. None the less it was crazy. But, there were so many great food stands, topiaries, and other fun things going on for the festival. So, for that reason I would for sure recommend it!

Weather | Naturally, the one week we went in March it was freezing. Okay not freezing, but cold for Florida. It was in the mid to high 50s during the day and would get down into the 40s at night. Some days were cloudy so we didn't even have the sun to keep us warm. Keep track of the weather before you go! We made the mistake in January once and didn't bring any warm clothing. I'd say pack a pair of jeans, leggings, and sweatshirts and jackets to be safe. Even if it is warm it can get chilly at night! I would pack a pair of leggings and a sweatshirt in my backpack to put on at night. This was super helpful, especially if you plan on staying for fireworks and night shows.

Have you gone to Disney in March? I want to hear your experience! Let me know in the comments!

Dose of Disney: Danielle Nicole Handbag Review

Disney Danielle Nicole handbags have been my current favorite recently. She has so many adorable designs perfect for the Disney lover in you! I wanted to do a quick review on my current Danielle Nicole handbag, this oh-sew adorable Seven Dwarf bag.

This bag is perfect for in and out of the parks. With its circle shape I wasn't sure how much it would fit, but it is super roomy. I fit my wallet, a small digital camera, lip balm, sunglasses case, and other small essentials all in this little bag. I'm also a huge fan of its crossbody design. I wore this bag across my body over my backpack in the parks. This worked out perfectly because I had things at easy access such as my camera and sunglass case that I was taking in and out often. It also let me keep my more valuable items at closer reach.

As for the design, it really can't be beat. It has metallic gunmetal silver faux leather on the strap and the back of the bag. While the front has the Seven Dwarfs, my favorite guys, and a GLITTER background! This glitter background is what made me love this bag. It is so dreamy and fun for the parks. Then to top it off there is a cute moveable mining pick you can turn and move like a little clock.

The amount of compliments I got on this bag was ridiculous! It's super cute and makes you stand out in the parks. I picked it up on Hot Topic's website, but it is available on Danielle Nicole's website and Box Lunch. Right now the glitter background option doesn't seem to be available. But, the bag available now is very similar to this original style. This bag sold out so quickly! So if you see it I would purchase right away if you are set on it. Box Lunch and Hot Topic usually have a deal with a certain percentage off all items online so look out for that as well.

Have any questions about Danielle Nicole handbags? Let me know in the comments! I recently purchased the Beauty and the Beast rose bag and the Cogsworth makeup bag so be sure to look out for those items in future posts!

Dose of Disney: Flower Garden Festival Topiaries

Disney World's Flower and Garden festival is known for all of its character topiaries. I loved walking around the countries and the park to see some of my favorite Disney characters created with flowers. All of the bright colors made Epcot even more beautiful then usual. In today's post I'm going to share with you some of my favorite topiaries and flowers seen at the Flower and Garden Festival 2017!

If you follow me on Instagram you've already seen this Beauty and the Beast topiary because I am obsessed! It's so so beautiful!

Location: Mexico

The Three Caballeros is such an underrated ride, and movie, so I loved this topiary in Mexico! This is one of my favorite rides at Epcot so it was so cute to see these three birds turned into flowers.

Location: Germany

The Seven Dwarfs, especially Dopey are some of my favorite characters! These guys are located near Germany. Snow White is also included in the display.

Who doesn't love the Lion King?! These topiaries are located on the African theme bridge next to China. My family is still confused as to what that area is supposed to be, but hey they have a Simba topiary so we'll go along with it.

Location: France

Topiary perfection right here! My two favorite Disney sidekicks are displayed right out front of France. Belle and Beast are also located here. This makes for the perfect photo spot because you get a spiral style garden and the buildings of France in the background.

Location: Canada

Bambi and Thumper couldn't get any cuter! These guys are hanging out right as you walk into Canada.

Location: America

Woody is hiding out in America, we almost missed him because he is a bit hidden. He is right near the BBQ Flower and Garden food stand so be sure to go see him!

Location: U.K.

The characters of Winnie the Pooh are right near Rose and Crown Pub in the U.K.

Location: U.K.

The characters of Fanstasmic are outside of the countries. There are quite a few topiaries not in the world showcase so be sure to walk around the first part of the park to make sure you don't miss Buzz, Lighting McQueen and more!

Location: U.K.

Don't forget to visit Tink in the U.K. as well! Peter Pan is hiding out on top of the gift shop near the bathrooms, so be sure to look up.

What is your favorite topiary? Mine are for sure the Beauty and the Beast ones! Let me know in the comments.

Dose of Disney: Life is Bubbles

Life is bubbles! Under the sea.....
I have to say Ariel has some of the best Disney music out there. So, when I say this champagne bottle inspired tee from Lost Bro Trading Co. I had to pick it up. It has a silhouette of Ariel in the center of the bottle with bubbles floating around it. This tee is a must for any Ariel fan!

I wore this look shopping in Disney Springs, formally known as Downtown Disney. It's been quite a while since I've been to Disney Springs and this was the first time I saw all of the new amazing updates! I had so much fun browsing all of the new shops, Disney co-op area, and the D-Living store. Not to mention they have so many great restaurants and places to eat closer to the shopping areas now!

This was the warmest day of our trip. Of course our last day was the best weather! But, it gave me the chance to finally wear shorts and sandals. For accessories I kept things simple. I wore my go-to Kendra Scott necklace, Jack Rogers gold sandals, Pandora bracelet, and Alex and Ani bangles. Also, I carried my Dooney Bourke Disney bag.

To snap a great photo at Disney Springs head to the Coca Cola store on the third floor. Their balcony and bar area is amazing! Side note: the Coca Cola is three floors full of Coca Cola merchandise... who knew you could put a coke bottle on so many things.

Where it's from:
Tee: Lost Bros Trading Co.
Shorts: J Crew
Belt: vineyard vines
Shoes: Jack Rogers
Bag: Dooney Bourke Disney Collection
Bracelets: Pandora, Alex and Ani
Magicband wrap: Magical Monograms
Location: Disney Springs

What is your favorite store at Disney Springs? I loved the D-Living store and Levis! Let me know in the comments!

Dose of Disney: Disney Booze, what to drink at Epcot

Drinking around the world is becoming Epcot's claim to fame amongst 21-year-olds everywhere. I mean drinking a traditional alcoholic beverage from around the world in one place does sound appealing. And also like a massive hangover. I took a different approach and drank some lovely drinks around the world at Epcot, but I didn't drink in every country. There are for sure some yummy beverages exclusive to the Flower and Garden festival! But, there are also some great drinks available all year round.

U.K. | Flower and Garden Festival Ciders: In the U.K. I had some special ciders that were at the Flower and Garden food stand and they were amazing!! The U.K. is obviously the place to go for beer or cider anytime of the year.
France | Flower and Garden La Vie en Rose slush, Champagne: During the Flower and Garden Festival I found my new favorite drink the La Vie en Rose slush. Guys it is amazing!!! Now when I go to the bars at school I'm going to want to ask for that and people will think I am crazy. But, it is so so good! France is also the place to get a glass of champagne in their wine store towards the back of the country.
Italy | Sangria: Sangria in Italy is to die for! You can get it at the sit down restaurants. I usually go for the white sangria but I'm sure the red is just as good.

Although I didn't drink a ton at Epcot, these were some of my favorites. If you plan to drink around the world be sure to be safe! Also, remember there are children around and to be conscience of your surroundings.
What is your favorite drink at Epcot? Let me know in the comments!

Dose of Disney: Be Our Guest

If you couldn't already tell, I am obsessed with Beauty and the Beast. I have been a OG Belle fan since day one. She has always been my favorite princess. Now with the live action movie out people are going crazy for all things Beauty and the Beast. But, I've always loved the amazing characters from this story. So, naturally I had to eat at Be Our Guest while at Disney. My family and I always eat here every trip. Most time we eat there twice in one trip. What can we say, we love Be Our Guest!

This time, I was super excited because Be Our Guest got the coveted enchanted rose cups!!! OMG these are amazing! At first these cups were only available in Disneyland and everyone was loosing their mind over them. With perfect timing they brought them to Disney World the week I got there. Naturally I had to pick one up. It is so so enchanting and beautiful. To be honest I probably will just display this cup because it is to beautiful to use.

As for my outfit, I found this adorable Be Our Guest pocket tee at Box Lunch in Des Moines. I recently discovered Box Lunch and I am obsessed. They have a ton of pop culture items including adorable Disney apparel, home decor, and accessories. This pocket tee is upside down and has the characters falling out of the pocket. How cute! Mrs. Potts, Chip, Lumiere, and Cogsworth are some of my all time favorite Disney characters. So, this tee is perfect and perfect to wear to Be Our Guest!

Is butter a carb? I love this Mean Girls inspired button from Parkbound buttons!

While at Disney World I also picked up a Pandora bracelet and Disney charms. I've never owned anything from Pandora really so I loved finally purchasing one. They were selling a set of all three Beauty and the Beast charms with a CD soundtrack and movie poster from the live action film. The set was a great deal so I had to pick it up. With all of the Beauty and the Beast charms in one set it gave a great start to my charm collection! I hope to collect more Disney charms with each visit.

Try the grey stuff it's delicious! Really, this cupcake was amazing. The grey cool whip style frosting was so so good! This is a must to get when dinning at Be Our Guest.

My mom rocked the same tee with me for our day at Magic Kindgom! Sadly it was to cold to see our t-shirts, other then inside Be Our Guest. Check out my cold weather Disney look here.

Where it's from:
Shirt: Box Lunch
Jeans: American Eagle
Ears: Aloha Ear Design
Necklace: Baublebar
Featured bracelet: Pandora with Beauty and the Beast charm set

In addition to Be Our Guest there is a Gaston themed restaurant at Magic Kingdom, Gaston's Tavern. We eat here every time for breakfast because of their amazing cinnamon rolls and pastries. There is certainly a ton of antlers in the decorating!

Have you eaten at Be Our Guest? Let me know in the comments!
