Sew Cute Holiday: Gifts Under $50

Tis the season! Cute gifts don't have to break the bank. All of these gifts are under $50, and a lot are in the $25-$30 range. I recently picked up this Tangle Teezer brush and I am obsessed. Would be the cutest gift for anyone who loves beauty! Then how adorable is this badass Little Words Project bracelet? Their bracelets are so cute and you can even customize a bracelet on their website. Love these for a sister or a friend. For a self care inspired gift look no further then Naples Soap Co. I tried out their shower bombs and they are great if you don't have a tub. You just pop it on your shower floor and it releases essential oils and amazing scent while you shower. Great for anyone who just got their first apartment.

I've included a few other fun gifts to consider! Which is your favorite gift? Let me know below!

OOTD: Ivy Style

I love a blazer moment for fall. This whole look is giving me an ivy league vibe. Fall 2021 has been giving me major Gossip Girl influence and naturally I support it. What I love about blazers is that you can dress them up or down. I've worn this blazer for work but here I am wearing it more casually. If you find a good blazer that you love you'll have it forever! They are great investment pieces. Plus every good grandmillenial has a classic blazer in their wardrobe right?

This navy houndstooth blazer is old from J. Crew. But, I linked very similar options available now. I've had this one I think since college! When I buy clothing pieces I usually keep them for years. Recently I've been trying to buy clothing that I really truly love. I'd rather invest in quality items then buy a bunch of fast fashion items. This is a perfect example! Buy a timeless blazer you can wear for years.

I paired the blazer with a sapphire velvet headband from Lele Sadoguhi. If I wanted to mix it up I would pair it with a white, denim, or a pop color headband. I think a pink headband would also look cute with this look!

For my shoes I am wearing my Sarah Flint block sandal. This shoe is so versatile. You can wear as a wedding guest, to work, or just casually. I got the lower heel so I think they are more versatile. You can use code SARAHFLINT-BAMIRANDAP for $50 off your first order!

OOTD: Hey Pumpkin

Hey pumpkin! A few years later and I am still obsessed with this pumpkin backpack. It is so freaking cute! Sadly this backpack is from 2019 I think? I got it the last time I was in Disneyland which was August 2019. I'm so glad I got this backpack because they haven't made a similar style since.

This backpack always comes out come fall time. I use it outside of the parks whether I'm running an errand or at the pumpkin patch. This year our pumpkin patch/ apple orchard had sunflowers. Normally I'm not a sunflower gal but I love taking photos with them.

I've been wearing my basic white tees non stop recently. They are such a great layering piece to wear year round. I've paired them with sweaters for the fall and skirts for the summer. You can also get a great deal on Aerie tees so check back on their site for sales!

Sew Cute Holiday: My Holiday Wishlist

It is almost the most wonderful time of the year! Every year I kick off my gift guides with my own holiday wishlist. I love creating these each year because it kind of reflects what I'm liking each year. This year I am super into the grandmillenial craze. I've got a few home items since I just bought a hose. Then of course some clothing, accessories, and beauty items!

With the holidays fast approaching I am encouraging everyone to shop early. Supply chain is messed up right now. Which means we can accept a lot of out of stock notifications and delayed shipping. Pick up gifts early to avoid any shortages we may have this shopping season.

What is on your holiday wishlist? Let me know below!

OOTD: Apples to Apples

It's fall y'all! Apple picking is one of my favorite fall traditions. I am happy I went early in the season because this fall has escaped from me! It always goes by so quickly. With the new house and everything going on with that most of our weekends are spent working on projects vs. going out and about. But, I'm okay with that! I am so happy that I was able to take a quick trip to the apple orchard though.

My apple picking essentials always include LL Bean boots. Walking through the grass, mud, and weeds these are key. They are super durable and can be worn in fall or winter for the snow. I've had this pair since college and they are still in amazing shape. Wear them with a thick cozy sock for extra warmth.

I also always dress in layers when going to the apple orchard. The day we went it was so warm! So we ended up taking our sweaters off and tying them around our waist. It worked out well because I got my cute fall pictures, but then we could escape the heat a bit.

I also love wearing fanny packs for a day at the apple orchard or the pumpkin patch. Having your hands free is so nice when you are picking apples or finding the perfect pumpkin. This fanny pack is from Stoney Clover Lane's cozy collection last fall. They haven't released a cozy collection for 2021 yet, but I think it will be coming soon! So be on the lookout for that.

OOTD: Cute and Casual

Cute and casual! Recently I've taken any opportunity to dress up a little bit. Why yes wearing jeans is now dressing up, I don't make the rules. I wore this fun classic look for running errands around town.

This sweater from Target is so good! Can you believe it is only $20? I've worn it a ton since picking it up. It isn't available online anymore, but check your local store to see if you can find it. I'm not sure if anyone out there is on berries and cream TikTok but this look gives me those vibes. It's the Peter Pan collar for me.

To continue the casual look I paired the sweater with a denim rhinestone headband from Lele Sadoughi. This one isn't available anymore but I linked a similar style below! I love denim Lele headbands because you can wear them with pretty much anything. So versatile, it makes the perfect Lele Sadoughi first purchase.

I wore my everyday bracelet stack along with my gold Tory Burch flats to round out the look. Ballet flats add a touch of classiness to the look.

What is your new go-to cute and casual look? I've been gravitating towards jeans with a transitional top or sweater recently! Let me know your go-to casual look below.
