What I Wore: Book of Mormon

A while back I was able to score $25 tickets to the Book of Mormon in Chicago. In the past few weeks I've seen two broadway shows and I've been loving it! I danced my entire life so I love seeing stage performances and shows, it brings me back to the glory days.

As for the look, I wanted to do something a little different. I wore this adorable red scalloped dress with a fun tie wrapped around my waist. While in London I picked this up for super cheap and I've been obsessed with it for winter looks. But, I thought it would be a fun sash to wear during the summer and I think it ended up being super cute!

I paired my dress with my go-to Jack Rogers of the moment. Along with my red dress I carried my Cambridge Satchel bag that I also picked up in London. This bag is super cute but it is on the small side. So, it works out for days when I don't need to carry a ton of stuff. I embellish this bag with fun keychains all of the time to spice it up a bit. Currently I have my Longchamp keychain from Paris and my Stoney Clover Mickey Mouse heart eye emoji keychain (can be purchased at 4 Seasons in Orlando).

As far as the Book of Mormon goes, it honestly wasn't my favorite. I've heard amazing things, but the humor just wasn't totally my taste. A lot of people could be easily offended by it, which I wasn't, but some of it I just didn't find funny. But, the singing was outstanding and I still think it was a good show. Their actors were very talented and for the most part I laughed at their jokes. However, I wouldn't recommend paying the high prices for it (at least if you are in Chicago) because their are a ton of ways to get cheap broadway tickets! So look around and make sure you find the best deal.
