Retro Chic: This pair of tall black boots I actually own and I love them! They are at a great discounted price so I highly suggest snatching them up. I am kind of obsessed with this houndstooth bag. It's super small but it would be a great going out bag for the holiday season. Then this House of Harlow necklace is gorgeous! The pearlized detail makes it super neutral. Not to mention this would be a great piece to layer with.

Comfy Cool: All of these pieces are super cool and casual. This Tory Burch denim bag is so chic. It would be a great neutral piece to add into your closet. I have a jacket similar to this tan one and I wear it constantly. Then these leather sweatpants may be your solution to a lazy day at class. They are cool but comfortable!

Preppy Fun: Personally, I am a huge fan of fun, feminine, and preppy pieces. Here are three of my favorites from the sale! The first are these super cute bow ballet flats. These would be great for an every day look or if you have to dress up! Then these statement earrings are life. All of the colors are super neutral so they would go with practically everything. But, who doesn't love a graphic sweater? I am loving this super cute fox graphic sweater. It adds a touch of fun without feeling like your 12.

Those are some of my favorites from the sale! Trust me I had more but those are just a few. I like to do this thing where I add everything I like into my cart and see how much my cart would cost. My cart totaled over $800..... so I won't be buying all of the things I like but maybe a few will end up in my basket! Do you do the same thing? It's that time of year...... 

My Nordstrom Anniversary Sale must haves! 

So, it is that time of year again! Aka the best time of the year. I love the Nordstrom sale because you can get a lot of things that normally don't go on sale for a discounted price! Such things include designer shoes, handbags, and tons of fun jewelry. I have been shopping this sale since as long as I can remember. Since my family is avid Nordstrom shoppers we get early accesses to the sale. So, here are some of my favorites from the sale that you can see early!

 

Kendra Scott earrings ON SALE! 

Ummm this is huge. I have been wanting these earrings for a while now but they are a little expensive in my opinion and usually don't go on sale. But the sale has them for only $33.90 compared to a normal $50. So, these are a pretty good deal! They have lots of gorgeous fall colors but these two are my favorites for sure. 

Monogram madness!

Who doesn't love a good monogram? Well Nordstrom has a ton for this sale which is a new thing for them! Very exciting news. Here are three of my favorite monogram items. I love this simple little Kate Spade necklace. Its super dainty and you could layer it with other pieces super easily. 

I have a new found love of tortoise shell so I am obsessed with this bangle. 

Then a classic monogram necklace on sale? Sign me up! This monogram necklace is around $80 which is a pretty good price compared to most nice monogram necklaces.

New kicks. 

Shoes are a major thing I purchase at the sale. Here are my top three that I am going to be looking at. Tory Burch flats on sale are a rare species. They have both an all silver and an all gold pair on sale for $150! I am thinking about the gold ones! Then I am in need of black boots and a pair of booties for "going out". So, here are my two favorites. Both of these boots come in a bunch of different colors.

I love my Sperrys! They have a few super cute styles for the sale and I think they are all Nordstrom exclusives. These were my favorite pair. I like the tradition style of the shoe but it has the gold cord as a fun accent.

Who doesn't love a fun earring? Well here are three earrings that I am in love with. Two are more simple studs then the other is a great statement earrings. All of these earrings come in multiple colors plus are all under $30!

I love myself a new phone case. For $25 I might have to pick up this Kate Spade one. They have two other styles on sale as well! 

Marley Lilly Flash Sale

So, its that time again! Marley Lilly is my go-to place for monograms! Basically everything I have that is monogram is from them. I am always pleased with what I order from there. Right now they are having a flash sale and here are a few of my favorite picks. They almost have one of these every week so don't worry if you miss out because there will be another one super soon!

I am literally obsessed with this necklace! I plan on getting it with my twitter name but you can also get your monogram or your full name on it! Its super cute and would make a great gift for a social media junky. Baublebar has a similar style but this one is super cheap right now so snatch it up while you can.

The day after my birthday Cassidy and I went downtown Chicago to go shopping. I was very disappointed though because Vineyard Vines on Michigan Ave close, which was the store I wanted to go to the most. However, we still had a very good shopping day. I got a few things at Topshop that were pretty good deals then I scored a lot of good stuff at J Crew for 50% off. J Crew at 50% off is my favorite kind of J Crew. I mean who passes up $10 chino shorts? No one.

Our two main stops on our shopping trip. 

Here is my super yummy dessert I ate at Volare. Volare is an Italian restaurant a little bit off Michigan Avenue. If you are ever in the city you NEED to try it! It is way better then any place you will find near all of the tourist attractions!  

For my outfit I kept things pretty casual and comfortable because I knew I would be doing a lot of walking. I first wore a fun pair of striped shorts. They are super light and give off a nautical vibe. My shirt is just a plain white pocket tee with a fun sequin pineapple on the pocket. I kept my necklace simple because I didn't want to distract from the embellished pocket. So I wore my tortoise shell monogram necklace. For other jewelry I wore big rhinestone earrings (a birthday gift), Alex and Ani bangles, a Kate Spade bracelet, and my signature watch. My shoes are probably the most exciting part of the outfit because I have been wanting them for so long! They are a pair of gold Jack Rogers and I am obsessed. Then I am carrying a black small Longchamp tote (also a birthday gift).

It's that time again, the Kate Spade surprise sale! It seems that they just had one but hey, I can't complain about a sale. This sale is travel theme which is kind of cool because its summer and everyone has a weekend trip or two planned. I know I do! (comment below your weekend trip plans if you have any!) I LOVE this play hooky tote! I have seen this before and I was kind of obsessed. Who doesn't want to play hooky and have a weekend off? Then I have seen this chevron tote for a while and I have also been eyeing it. Chevron is one of my favorite prints so this is right up my alley.

Giraffes are one of my favorite animals so obviously I love this small little tote! Then I have been loving fun cool backpacks like this small black one. This would be an ideal bag if you are a low maintenance person and you don't want to fuss with a cross body or handbag on your trip!

Ciao! I love this tee. I don't wear t-shirts often but this one is super adorable. I love the gold sequin letters.
