Sew Cute Abroad: Weekend 5 Recap Part I

This is Emma Watson's dress that she wore in one of the Harry Potter films for the ball.

My friend Maggie and I took a day trip to the Harry Potter filming studios and University of Oxford which was part of a tour from International Friends. For more info click here! They have great tours for students but other people can go on them too! This tour was great because it basically just dropped us off at the locations and we could do our own thing from there. So, here is an inside look at the making of Harry Potter studios.

I was really inspired by all the work and time that went into every detail of the films. Throughout the tour you see sets, props, costumes, special affects, and architecture from the film. Everything had such intricate detailing that I think sometimes gets lost in the films! But, I can assure you a lot of time was put into everything in these films.

I especially loved looking at all of the costumes. It was interesting to see everything up close and personal!

And of course, throughout the whole production studio you saw iconic items from the films. From Harry's freshman dorm to Dumbledor's office.

Although Dolores Umbridge is a villain I have to get her snaps on her very pink wardrobe.

Did you really go to the Harry Potter tour if you didn't take this picture?

For all you Harry Potter fans I hoped you enjoyed this! If you ever get the chance to go to the making of Harry Potter tour I highly suggest it. Although I'm not a die hard fan I loved the movies and it was really cool to see all of the craftsmanship and work that went into these films.
Whats your favorite Harry Potter movie? Mine is the chamber of secrets! Let me know in the comments.
XOXO
