Baseball Cap Collection!

For those bad hair days....
I love baseball caps recently! I wear them a lot when I am at school mainly to mask bad hair days but also to add a little something to my outfits. A lot of my hats range from brands and colors so I have a pretty good collection I think. My personal favorite hats are from Vineyard Vines. I have two, both pink (not sure how that happened), and they are great to throw on with just about anything. Recently I just got a new Ralph Lauren hat and it is red with a blue logo. It goes with all of my nautical looks perfectly!

Preppy Diaries: Houndstooth Hat

One of my recent purchases was this J Crew houndstooth hat. It was on clearance for around $6 so naturally I had to get it in two different colors. But it his look you see the one that features a maroon color along with a charcoal and white. This hat is super preppy and will for sure be a great fall and winter accessory for next season. Not to mention I love houndstooth so its perfect!

I paired the hat with my favorite Aerie peplum sweatshirt and a simple pair of jeans. I added some sparkle with my signature J Crew necklace and my arm candy of the day. Also, I added a dash of color with a dark maroon red lipstick.

J Crew has a bunch of hats on their website and in stores so be sure to check them out!

{My two newest additions to my hat collection! It's getting pretty big if I do say so myself.}

Holiday Outfit Ideas: Cold Weather Days

Holiday Outfit Ideas: Cold Weather Days

Winter is now in full swing. Snow is everywhere and it is basically freezing all the time. So, how can you bundle up and still look fashionable?
Well, having fun with coats and winter accessories will make those cold days a little better.

{This red coat with the scallop trim is adorable!}

Cold Weather Days

Playing up with your winter accessories is any easy way to have fun with your winter coat. From hats, scarves, gloves, and headbands the possibilities are endless!

The Black Coat has a very unique pattern. If you mix this pattern with a fun hat, scarf, and more simple gloves you have the perfect balanced look.

 Pastel coats are in! And this Pink Coat is super soft and fluffy. By adding a patterned scarf you can add a little more interest to the look. Then pick a leather pair of gloves with some fun metal details.

With a solid color coat like this Purple Coat you can add some patterned accessories to your look. These Henri Bendel fingerless gloves are prefect for a social media addict. Then every girl should have a fun pair of ear muffs! I personally have a cheetah pair and I think they are just adorable.

My Picks:

I have this coat from American Eagle and it is an AMAZING coat. As a college student you find yourself walking outside in the cold or in most cases waiting outside in the cold for a bus. This coat actually keeps me super warm and cozy through it all, which is super nice. It is sold out as of now but I would keep checking back to see if they re-stock it because it is amazing! However, places like Northface make similar coats to this one this one is just a little more affordable.

I also have a houndstooth peacoat that I wear during the winter months. My coat is from Guess and I purchased it at Macy's. Since I got it last year they don't have the exact same one but Macy's has very similar options on their website. I think houndstooth is a fun pattern but is still neutral to wear everyday. Also, it is normally in style so you can have the coat for a long time. I like to wear a heavy peacoat in the winter when I am going somewhere nice and I am wearing a dress or something like that.

What's Trending? #beanies

What's trending? #beanies
Beanie hats are all of the rage in fashion now and days. The ghetto look is in and people are loving it.

Beanies with creative or funny sayings are the new accessory to have. These typically edgy hats are now a favorite amongst many fashion it girls.

How to style them:
Beanie Love

One way to style a beanie is with pairing it with cute shorts, tights, and a top. By pairing these items with a beanie and combat boots you have a cute but hipster look for the day. Add a chain necklace or another statement piece to add an extra detail. If you live somewhere cold be sure to include tights or knee socks in your look.

Hats with funny sayings are a great way to add personality to your outfit.

Add a bright colored beanie to add a pop of cozy color.

If you aren't super edgy opt out for a more girly beanie. I mean who doesn't want a fun cheetah, rhinestone, or watermelon hat?
