Pin Up Inspired 

For this look I took a vintage spin on the nautical trend. By adding the headband it kind of gave it a vintage pin-up girl vibe. Which I kind of love! To create this look I paired my favorite anchor shorts with a simple denim shirt. I have worn this denim shirt a bunch this summer and I am in love! You can pair it with practically anything which makes it super versatile. Also, I added a splash of red with both my lipstick and my earrings. I love these earrings because they have a small anchor detail which ties in the whole look. For shoes I kept things simple with my angelfish Sperry Top-Siders. They add an extra touch of nautical to the look. 

These earrings are super adorable! I have a severe anchor addiction I have to admit. 

I love wearing a bold red lip! Its great to add a pop of color to a neutral look.

So being the disney freak that I am I was pretty excited to hear that Forever 21 has a vintage Disney collection. Actually I'm going on a Disney cruise so I am basically going to buy all of this and wear it and be a dork. 

But, in all seriousness this stuff is adorable! Here are some of my top picks which I will probably end up getting. 

 

So, I am completely obsessed with hats so of course I love these two beauties! The meanie is super graphic which I love. Then the baseball cap is also bold and super cute. 

This Pluto sweater may be one of the most adorable things ever. I like how the head pops out from the side of the sweater so you can only see a little bit of him. Then this fanny pack is just great and would be perfect for a Disney vacation. 

Then they have a lot of different things for this collection. 

If you want to bring out your inner child I highly suggest checking out Forever 21. Not only is the collection fun but it is super graphic and bold. 

OOTD: Pajama Chic 

This outfit is chic and classic but comfortable. My maroon button up shirt reminds me of a vintage pajama shirt. It has lighter pink piping detail and a peter style collar. I paired this shirt with a pair of super dark wash denim jeans. These jeans are one of my favorite pairs of jeans ever. They are not only stretchy but they have the super dark wash which I prefer. 

My accessories a brown pair of flats, pearl studs, a stack of bangles, and a topknot. 

Also, I sported my ASOS purse with gold detailing and a super cute horse on the front.

September 16th, 2013: 

The Outfit: Today it finally got cold enough to wear layers! Thank you weather gods. So, I wore a denim button down layered with a cardigan paired with these super cute high waisted sailor style shorts. My accessories include a a statement necklace, knee high black socks, and gold ballet flats. Also seeing how I woke up late I decided to go with a topknot to have a simple and quick look.

The Outfit: I'm wearing a pair of lace high waisted shorts with a simple grey v-neck. Of course a statement necklace is a must! So I wore this color necklace in gold. Also I wore my cat eye glasses, which yes actually are prescription. I finished the look off with a topknot, rose gold sandals, and pearl earrings.
