Spring Style Guide

Spring is in the air! Well... not really seeing how it is snowing as I write this post. You win some you loose some right? But we can pretend it is almost spring by shopping for cute dresses and tops right? Florals for spring, I know, ground breaking. These florals are giving me life though. I'm feeling major Loveshackfancy vibes from brands this season. All things floral, cutesy, and breezy. These dresses make me want to frolic through a field.

This season I am all about ruffles, pleats, and ditsy prints. These dresses range from all sorts of price points! So there is really something for everyone. Shop Red Dress has some amazing dresses this season. I am eyeing about 5 from there alone! For sure on my list of places to shop for new spring pieces.

Loveshackfancy dresses are for splurge, but I love the classic dress I have from them. But, they are well known for their gorgeous prints and cute silhouettes. I love this long sleeve dress from them. It has so many cute details and I think would be a great spring summer dress.

What spring trends are you looking forward to this season? Let me know in the comments!

Sew Cute Travels: Hello Kitty Cafe Vegas

Welcome to the fabulous Hello Kitty cafe! Viva Las Vegas brings us this adorable gem that is the Hello Kitty cafe. When I first saw that they opened up a Hello Kitty cafe in Vegas I about died. I go to Vegas a lot for work so I knew I had to go on my next trip.

It is located between the New York hotel and the Park MGM hotel. Park MGM is one of my favorite hotels on the Strip (I am heading there in April!) so it makes it even better. There is a super cute seating area outside the truck cafe. Adorable tables covered in Hello Kitty make for the perfect photo spot.

I ordered a Hello Kitty bow cookie, My Melody macaron, a peach iced tea, and a cafe latte. The peach iced tea was seriously AMAZING. It had little bits of real peach in it and it was so so yummy. Cannot recommend it enough! If I'm being honest the latte was just okay. But, look at that cute coffee cup. I know I'm a sucker but I am here for it.

The cafe also has cute merchandise options for purchase. I bought a cute little keychain that looks like a coffee cup. They also had mugs, a water bottle, tee, and squishy key chains. This would be a great place to pick up a souvenir if you know a big Hello Kitty fan.

This part of Vegas is super calm and relaxing. I sat here for about an hour or so sipping my coffee and just hanging out. Naturally took a ton of photos, as you can see. It's a great spot to just chill out and get a sweet treat. It opens at 11am so it isn't ideal for breakfast, but I would totally recommend it for an after lunch treat!

Pink Shopping Guide

Pretty in pink! Pink may be my favorite color to wear. I'm not sure what it is but I just love all things pink. With Valentine's Day this month I had to create a fun pink shopping guide. I shopped around and found some super cute pink pieces. Like this Dior lip balm that is one of my favorite lip products of the moment. Some gorgeous pink blouses that could be dressed up or down. Plus some fun pink accessories to spice up any outfit.

What is your favorite color to wear? Let me know in the comments!

Spring Accessories Guide

Spring is in the air! Well.... not really in Chicago but maybe in other places. But I am already getting excited about spring fashion. So far I am loving what I am seeing for spring trends. In today's post I wanted to highlight some fun spring ready accessories that I'm planning on rocking this season.

Currently I am all about stacking bracelets. Back in high school I was all about the "arm party" and now I feel like it's kind of coming back. These gold filled beaded bracelets, customizable name bracelets, and gold links are giving me life. All of these bracelets are at a great price point! For something trendy it's okay to go for a cheaper option.

This spring I am planning on wearing my Gucci Marmont bag on repeat. But this Tory Burch bag is a great dupe option but still high quality. The white color would also be perfect for spring and summer outfits. If you want to splurge on a Gucci piece you could opt for a fun card case like this one. I use card cases all the time in my smaller bags vs. using my normal wallet.

Another huge trend I anticipate continuing into spring are Golden Goose sneakers. But, let's be real I cannot justify spending $500+ on sneakers. As much as I'd love to, nah fam that is not happening. This pair of dupes is a great alternative, and they are under $40! I have two pairs of these a gold pair then a cheetah pair. They are seriously great quality for the price. I got them on sale for $25 during Black Friday so keep an eye on them in case they go on sale!

Headbands better be a trend this spring, or else I'm making it a trend honestly. This new denim jeweled headband from Lele Sadoughi is to die for. I love all of the pastel colors. I feel like it would match so many pretty spring dresses. Then of course I'll still be rocking my classic white and pearl headband all spring.

What spring accessory trends are you anticipating? Let me know in the comments!

Weekly Picks vol. 5

Last week was insane with work! Lots of traveling and appointments all day long. Plus the Vegas time difference did not help my case. But, I am back this week with my weekly picks! Since I was traveling last week a lot of these pieces were things I used on my trip. I tested out my Stoney Clover Lane tote bag this trip as my carry on item and I loved it. It's an easy size to carry through the airport but still holds a ton. I have it in this gorgeous grape color. Honestly the color is even prettier in person. If you are a purple person you need this bag in your life ASAP.

A few accessories I took on my trip included these adorable heart sunnies. I think they are darling for Valentine's Day. Plus with Prime shipping there is still time to order them! Then I love this little initial necklace. It would be super cute to gift to your girlfriends for a little Galentine's Day gift. Then I constantly reached for this Dior lip glow color. It is a nice mix between a lip balm and lip stick.

Most of my trip I was wearing these sneakers from Shop Red Dress. They are a great affordable alternative to Golden Goose sneakers, which are a whopping $500. While these are $35... I know an amazing deal! Surprisingly they are pretty comfortable for an affordable sneaker. I wore them all day multiple days in a row and had no issues. Another piece I wore multiple times on my trip was my Dudley Stephens fleece. This is my new go-to travel outfit. Pair it with leggings or jeans and it is the perfect cute but comfy travel outfit.

My favorite sweater from this winter is on sale at J. Crew! Plus they are doing an extra 30% off sale items which makes it $41.99, which is a great price. I love the rhinestone button detail on the shoulders. Aerie is also having a sale this week! I'm eyeing this cheetah sweatshirt. It looks so cozy and perfect for lounging around the house.

Those are my weekly picks for the week! What items are you loving this week?

Sew Organized: Headband Storage

Headbands are literally my calling. Since this headband trend has resurfaced I have been obsessed. But, I was wearing headbands before it was cool, trust me on this one. My inner Blair Waldorf has been wearing them for years. I am happy that everyone else is hopping on the bandwagon though. For once this is a trend I can really get behind.

Once you stock pile a bunch of headbands, like me, you need a good storage solution to keep them all organized. I found these headband holders on Amazon and they are game changers. I have this clear acrylic one then also a long black velvet holder. Then I keep my Lele Sadoughi headbands in the dust bags they come in and in my Stoney Clover Lane x Lele case. The case is a fun way to display them in a cute way. While the dust bags protect them.

The best part about this clear holder is that it holds other accessories on the inside! I keep other scrunchies, bows, and fabric headbands in there. It really utilizes all of the space available vs. having dead space in the middle of the organizer. I think this is a great starting point to start organizing your headbands if your collection is small and under control. Mine however is not, so I need both this and a long black velvet organizer. But, that is okay because I love them all!

SHOP

Are you into the headband trend? Let me know in the comments! I want to keep doing Sew Organized themed posts in the future. I love all things organization and planning so I think it could be a fun new series.

Dose of Disney: Shop Disney New Arrivals

Shop Disney has honestly stepped up their game recently. Now I don't have to have park FOMO because I can't get certain merchandise. They've been posting a ton of park merchandise to their website and I am here for it. It helps us who can't go to the parks every week to keep up with all of the adorable things they are doing!

Today I wanted to show off some of the cute new merchandise I am eyeing. Mainly Baby Yoda of course. I mean I desperately need this Baby Yoda spirit jersey. It is so dang cute I could cry. They also have a ton of other Baby Yoda merchandise hitting the website. Honestly it is about time!

There are a ton of other cute new pieces that you have to check out. So without further ado happy shopping!

Valentine's Day Gift Ideas for Him

Valentine's Day is another holiday we all struggle to come up with gifts for our guy. Fear not! I've rounded up a few gift ideas for your guy for Valentine's Day. V-Day is a great time to treat your guy to something nice! I suggest a Barbour wax jacket or quilted vest for a great investment piece. They will wear either of these pieces on repeat throughout the year. Or you can opt for a nice leather accessory like a washbag for travel, leather gloves, or a new wallet.

If tech items are more there thing I suggest a new pair of AirPods. My boyfriend is obsessed with his and wears them all the time for work. Or you could try something new and get him these cool Bose audio sunglasses. I am not tech savvy so I'm not sure the details, but they seem super cool and unique! He for sure wouldn't be expecting them.

To pamper your guy you can put together a self care kit with cologne and other skincare products like this Jack Black set. Or you can buy a box pre-curated from BoxFox on Nordstrom. I think these are super cool and would make great last minute gifts! For the entertainer at heart I love this whiskey stone set. You could pair it with a bottle of their favorite whiskey and your gift is complete.

I also always love the idea of gifting an experience. Whether it be a whiskey tasting, brewery tour, concert, or a different activity they enjoy you can make their gift something you both can enjoy together.

What are you planning on gifting your guy this Valentine's Day? Let me know in the comments!

Between Shop Disney and Boxlunch there are so many cute romantic gift options for the Disney lover in your life. Whether it be a couples gift, Galentine's Day, or for your significant other these fun magical gift picks are sure to please.

Personally I am eyeing these dreamy sequin red ears. They are perfect for Valentine's Day but also for any Mickey or Minnie look! You can complete the look with the matching backpack and Alex and Ani bangle.

There are also lots of options for fun Disney inspired jewelry. Whether it be a dainty necklace, bangle, or Pandora charm the possibilities are endless. For someone who isn't a jewelry fan I love a fun Disney mug or a phone case! I ordered this baby Yoda case for myself and I cannot wait for it to come in.
