Charleston Packing List

Hello from Charleston! This week I am in the Charleston area for my best friends sister's wedding. Wow that is a mouthful. But either way I wanted to share some of the items I packed with me for the trip. This is my first trip to Charleston and I am so excited. I feel like the aesthetic and vibe is so me. I'm pumped to wear some of these outfits! This isn't everything I packed but wanted to share a few key items with you.

I wanted to pack a lot of spring clothes because it will be a while until I can wear them in Chicago. This Hill House nap dress I think is going to be a new favorite of mine. With metallic thread in a subtle check print it is so darling. Plus a puff sleeve is always a good idea. I also packed this crop top with a puff sleeve, but it is currently sold out. Originally it was from Red Dress! A basic pair of white denim shorts or jean shorts are a go-to for me. These are super affordable too!

In terms of accessories I went for my go-to Lele Sadoughi headband and a fun pair of heart studs. Perfect for a wedding week! Then a new accessory addition to my closet is this Born on Fifth x Dillards bow. I am thinking it will go perfectly with my nap dress! All of the Southern belle vibes right? I'm here for it.

Have you ever been to Charleston? Let me know in the comments!

Sew Engaged: Affordable Wedding Dresses

Happy Wedding Wednesday! Today I'm sharing some gorgeous affordable wedding dresses. These four are my top picks! One of them is even under $100. I think you can find gorgeous dresses no matter your budget. Or maybe you are having a COVID wedding then having a bigger reception later. Wear a casual dress for one then your dream dress for another! My favorite of these gowns is the Hayley Paige pearl gown by far. Which is your favorite? Let me know below!
