Dose of Disney: Be Our Guest

If you couldn't already tell, I am obsessed with Beauty and the Beast. I have been a OG Belle fan since day one. She has always been my favorite princess. Now with the live action movie out people are going crazy for all things Beauty and the Beast. But, I've always loved the amazing characters from this story. So, naturally I had to eat at Be Our Guest while at Disney. My family and I always eat here every trip. Most time we eat there twice in one trip. What can we say, we love Be Our Guest!

This time, I was super excited because Be Our Guest got the coveted enchanted rose cups!!! OMG these are amazing! At first these cups were only available in Disneyland and everyone was loosing their mind over them. With perfect timing they brought them to Disney World the week I got there. Naturally I had to pick one up. It is so so enchanting and beautiful. To be honest I probably will just display this cup because it is to beautiful to use.

As for my outfit, I found this adorable Be Our Guest pocket tee at Box Lunch in Des Moines. I recently discovered Box Lunch and I am obsessed. They have a ton of pop culture items including adorable Disney apparel, home decor, and accessories. This pocket tee is upside down and has the characters falling out of the pocket. How cute! Mrs. Potts, Chip, Lumiere, and Cogsworth are some of my all time favorite Disney characters. So, this tee is perfect and perfect to wear to Be Our Guest!

Is butter a carb? I love this Mean Girls inspired button from Parkbound buttons!

While at Disney World I also picked up a Pandora bracelet and Disney charms. I've never owned anything from Pandora really so I loved finally purchasing one. They were selling a set of all three Beauty and the Beast charms with a CD soundtrack and movie poster from the live action film. The set was a great deal so I had to pick it up. With all of the Beauty and the Beast charms in one set it gave a great start to my charm collection! I hope to collect more Disney charms with each visit.

Try the grey stuff it's delicious! Really, this cupcake was amazing. The grey cool whip style frosting was so so good! This is a must to get when dinning at Be Our Guest.

My mom rocked the same tee with me for our day at Magic Kindgom! Sadly it was to cold to see our t-shirts, other then inside Be Our Guest. Check out my cold weather Disney look here.

Where it's from:
Shirt: Box Lunch
Jeans: American Eagle
Ears: Aloha Ear Design
Necklace: Baublebar
Featured bracelet: Pandora with Beauty and the Beast charm set

In addition to Be Our Guest there is a Gaston themed restaurant at Magic Kingdom, Gaston's Tavern. We eat here every time for breakfast because of their amazing cinnamon rolls and pastries. There is certainly a ton of antlers in the decorating!

Have you eaten at Be Our Guest? Let me know in the comments!

Dose of Disney: Where to shop at Disney Springs!

The last time I was at Disney, Disney Springs was completely under construction. So, this time around I was so excited to go shop and see what the new Disney Springs had to offer. I have to say I was impressed! The architecture was gorgeous and there were some pretty amazing views around the area. I love this little lagoon area (pictured above)!

As for shopping, Disney Springs majorly stepped up there game. Here are a few of my top must sees on stores to visit at Disney Springs.

World of Disney | While at Disney Springs you have to make the customary trip to the World of Disney. All though this store is usually a mess (aka a TON of people everywhere) it is still worth it to take a look around. Sometimes they have items not at the park so be sure to take a quick lap! Also, if your looking for a specific item that was out of stock at the parks, they might have it there.
Disney Co-Op Area | The Co-Op area was for sure one of the highlights! The Co-Op area has a few different stores within one larger store. From Dooney Bourke Disney purses, house wares, to customized phone cases this place has it all. They have super unique items, and I wanted everything (naturally). This is defiantly the place to get great souvenirs and gifts!

TrenD | TrenD is a great place to find more trendy apparel (get it TrenD?) and non Disney apparel as well. This is the place to get Disney items that are a little more then just a t-shirt. You can also usually find super cute accessories as well!

D Living | D Living was giving me major envy! The whole store is a home decor store with, I'm assuming, a changing theme. While we were there, of course, it was Beauty and the Beast. Naturally, I was in heaven! I'm going to do a separate little post on the D Living store because you just have to see the inside. It was heaven for a BATB fan and a visual merchandiser at heart.

UNIQLO | This is the place to get adorable Disney tees for under $15. You heard that right! All of their Disney collection is under $15! With the exception of sweatshirts and things like that. They had so many cute designs it was hard choosing. I wish I could get one of each. I ended up with two shirts from their Beauty and the Beast collection then a Goofy football shirt. If your looking for affordable, but cute, Disney apparel look no further then UNIQLO.

Levi's | I saw the Levi's store on Abby Corkins's Instagram story and I had to check it out. (p.s. if you aren't following her on Instagram you should!) They have a whole area where you can customize any of their denim. From jackets to shorts to jeans the can do whatever! With a huge selection of patches, both Disney and non Disney, this is the place to be if your obsessed with the denim jacket + flair trend, like I am. But, I picked up something super special! They had a rack full of embroidered denim jackets that all had Beauty and the Beast themed embroidery. I ended up picking up the jacket that had Beauty and the Beast in french on the back plus embroidered Mrs. Potts and Chip. Basically the jacket of my dreams. Levi's is for sure worth the stop, even just to look around.

Kate Spade | If you know me you know I love Kate Spade. The Kate Spade at Disney Springs was gorgeous! My mom and I had so much fun looking at the new spring items. Also, they sell the Disney collection Kate Spade has in this store.

Lilly Pulitzer | Obviously, you have to stop at the Lilly store as well! Although they don't have any exclusive apparel that is Disney related it's still a must see. Also, it gives you a chance to pick up an outfit for the parks or for dinner if you need to!

Melissa | I visited the Melissa store in London and it was so cool! Although this store is much smaller they have the Disney Melissa collaboration, which I love. Sadly the shoes did not fit me so great. One was to small the other just a bit to big. So, I walked out empty handed. But, if you can fit into them they are so so comfortable! They also have regular Melissa shoes in the store as well.

Coca Cola Store | Lastly, go to the Coca Cola store for a view over Disney Springs on the third floor. They also have a bar up there where you can get a wide variety of drinks. Also, it is so funny to see all of the merchandise they have. Who knew you could put Coca Cola on so many things.

Isn't the view from the Coca Cola store amazing? It is for sure a must see while at Disney Springs!

Dose of Disney: My favorite Disney accessories!

I'm an accessories girl at heart, so Disney accessories are a must for me while I'm at the parks. Some of these I wear all year round as well! Today I'm going to share with you my favorite Disney accessories that will give an extra touch of magic to any look. First up is this Danielle Nicole handbag. I picked this up on Hot Topic's website for 20% off and I was so excited! Originally I saw it on HSN but it sold out very quickly. But, I knew I had to snatch it up when I saw it on Hot Topic's website, and for 20% off none the less! It features the Seven Dwarfs and lots of glitter. I got so many compliments on this bag in the park. With the bright colors and sparkles it is the perfect bag for Disney. Also, it is a great size. I carried it in addition to a backpack, but I mainly had my backpack to hold jackets and extra layers. This bag is the perfect size to hold your phone, a small camera, wallet, and other essentials!

Parkbound buttons are the cutest addition to your outfit or bag. These buttons are modeled after the buttons they pass out at the parks, but they feature pop culture sayings and the best Disney characters. I picked up multiple buttons from Parkbound for my trip and they are so cute! Adding little details like this will really personalize your Disney park look.

A new favorite of mine is my Pandora bracelet featuring Disney charms! I picked up this bracelet on this trip and I haven't taken it off since. I'm loving this Beauty and the Beast set I purchased. You can pick it up anywhere in the parks that sells Pandora charms! It includes three Beauty and the Beast charms, a movie poster, and a soundtrack of the new movie. With a discount on the charms plus the free gifts I couldn't resist. And we all know my BATB obsession is REAL. These bracelets and charms are great because they are super subtle. They are a great way to wear Disney in your everyday life without it being to over the top.

Next up are my ride or die Disney accessories Alex and Ani bangles. I discovered Alex and Ani first at Disney World when I picked up a castle bangle my senior year of high school. Since then I have become Alex and Ani obsessed! If you have seen my OOTD posts before you know I wear Alex and Ani bracelets everyday. Most of the time I am wearing some I picked up from Disney. These bracelets are another great way to wear Disney in a subtle way. Paired with my Alex and Ani bangles I usually wear a leather personalized bracelet. You can pick these up at Animal Kingdom in Africa, in the Pirates of the Caribbean gift shop, and in Canada at Epcot. I've loved getting these bracelets throughout the years. I especially love personalizing them with nicknames and different rivets. The best part? They have character ones, a ton of different colors, and even metallic ones! Be sure to check them out and get a personalized one for yourself next time your at the parks.

Another recent purchase from this trip was this Flower & Garden Festival exclusive Dooney & Bourke crossbody! I'm obsessed with this bag! It's the perfect size and has adorable colors for spring. I loved the Flower & Garden Festival so it was fun to get a little souvenir I can accessorize my looks with. It features Minnie, Mickey, Donald, and Figment plus a little bit of fruit and flowers.

What are your favorite Disney accessories? Let me know in the comments!

Lancome Product Review

Recently I received the a Lancome box from Inflenster to review a few of Lancome's Teint Idole collection. I have to say, some of these products have become my favorites! So, today I'm going to review these products and tell you which ones were hits and which were misses.

First up is the Lancome Le Mettalique Metallic Lip Laquer. I wasn't expecting the product to be so metallic. But, boy I was wrong! This gives you a very intense metallic look. For me personally, I can't wear this color on an everyday basis. It's a little too dramatic for me. Most days I wear a nude or pink shade lip, so this metallic shade was very different for me. It gives almost a chrome finish. So, for that reason it wasn't my favorite. It may be fun to wear once in a while but it isn't going to be a new go-to for me.

Next up, concealer. I really liked this Teint Idole Ultra Wear concealer. I got both the concealer and foundation in the lightest color available. I will say I could have gone a little darker, but I think that is because my face got some color while I was in Florida. But, this concealer is a great full coverage option. When I say full coverage I mean it! This concealer is intense and can cover up anything. My skin has behaving itself pretty well recently, so I haven't had to use it too much. However, this is a great product. But, if you are looking for a more sheer coverage, this isn't the concealer for you.

Now to highlighter. I've been loving this click highlighter! I received a gorgeous glowing pink tinted shade and I've been using it everyday. It gives you a super subtle glow. I'd say its more of a glow then a highlight. It's super pretty though!

Last we have foundation. Not going to lie, I was disappointed I got the stick foundation at first. But, it surprisingly gives you a lot of coverage. It is a little drying, but I mix it with a little bit of liquid foundation and it works great. This stick foundation gives you great coverage and it's super easy to apply. I've been using it everyday and it has become a new favorite of mine!

Have you tried any of these products? Let me know your thoughts in the comments!

Dose of Disney: Meet me at the Castle

Home is where the castle is!
For the last day at Magic Kingdom, and the parks, for our trip my family pulled out all the stops with coordinating home t-shirts featuring the castle. I loved loved loved mine from Pretty Little Monograms. I opted for a white tee with a gold castle so it could go with anything. But, she offers a ton of fun glitter options. My brother and dad got the actual Home Tees brand t-shirt.

It also happened to be St. Patricks Day so I knew I had to sport green in some small way. In the morning it started off at about 40 degrees because we did early magic hours from 7am to 8am. So I wore leggings in the morning then changed into this fun green skirt as the day progressed. Although it was super early it was for sure worth it. The parks were beyond busy this week so having an extra hour in the morning before things got busy we went on a lot of rides.

As per usual for this trip I layered my denim jacket accessorized with Disney flair when the weather was cooler. Eventually I got to take my jacket off, which was exciting because the weather had been pretty chilly all week.

For accessories I wore my new obsession, my Aloha Ear Design castle ears! These ears are 3D printed and so so cute. They are way different then anything you can get at the parks, which I love. Also, they matched this tee perfectly. I also wore my Stoney Clover Disney bracelets, purchased at the Four Seasons near Disney, and my Alex and Ani bracelets. Also, I wore my new Pandora bracelet filled with Beauty and the Beast charms. My buttons are from Box Lunch, Parkbound buttons, and from Disney World.

My mom and I rocked our matching shirts! She paired hers with jeans and a cardigan while I work mine with leggings, and a skirt when permitted. I'm obsessed with this picture of us with Tink! We opted for the photo pass this year so we went photo taking crazy. If you take advantage of every photographer you see the package pays for itself.

THE FAMOUS PURPLE WALL! After getting into a ton of Disney Instagramers I knew I had to go snap a picture at the purple wall. Also, as I mentioned last week, purple is my all time favorite color so this wall is perfection!

Dose of Disney: Fichwa Fellow!

Animal Kingdom is about as close to nature as I get, no joke. But, I love all of the trees and animals that inhabit Animal Kingdom. It is such a different park then the rest, which makes it super fun! Our day at Animal Kingdom started off cold, then got super warm. So, layering was key to this look. Over this look I wore my Pi Beta Phi Charles River wind breaker. This jacket was great to wear in the morning because it kept me warm, but was still light and easy to move around in.

When it felt colder I wore this adorable Lilly Pulitzer popover. I love their popovers because they are super comfortable, but obviously adorable. This print is so bright and paired with Animal Kingdom's scenery perfectly. My Sail Bow Minnie ears coordinated pretty well with the popover also.

Once it got warmer I shed off some layers to reveal this adorable Minnie Mouse monogram tee from Pretty Little Monograms. It has a Lilly bow! So so cute! I got mine on a white Comfort Colors pocket tee, but you can select any t-shirt you want on her website. If your planning a Disney trip you have to check out her stuff.

Got to love meeting Donald! He was loving my Sail Bow ears.

For accessories I wore the same items I wore all week. A stack of Disney Alex and Ani bracelets, a leather engraved bracelet from Disney World, and a pair of pearl earrings. A new addition to my look was my Pandora bracelet with a Beauty and the Beast charm set. I've been eyeing a Pandora bracelet with Disney charms for a while. So, I'm so happy I was able to get a set with three BATB charms just in time for the movie!

Where it's from:
Popover: Lilly Pulitzer
Tee: Pretty Little Monograms
Yoga pants: Krass & Co.
Sneakers: Nike
Ears: Sail Bows on Etsy
Bracelets: Alex and Ani, Disney World, Pandora Disney Collection

What is your favorite ride at Animal Kingdom? Mine is Mt. Everest because I love roller coasters! Let me know in the comments!

College Diaries: Senior Formal

Here is a quick little re-cap on my Senior formal! For formal I wore this adorable two-piece set from Lilly Pulitzer. Although it didn't look like a dramatic two piece (short girl problems) I still loved how it looked. Also, this is probably the most comfortable thing from Lilly I own. It's made from a scuba like material but it is super soft. Perfect for staying comfy at formal while dancing out on the floor.

My boyfriend found a Lilly printed bow tie on Etsy to match my dress! My print was a newer print so it isn't an exact match, but I still think we looked great. This print is also one of my new favorites. It combines all of my favorite colors plus adorable animals like elephants and monkeys!

At our senior formal we get senior sashes. Naturally mine was Miss #Preppy. My friend Bethany got Miss Trendsetter. Our sashes usually just represent something about us or something funny! I think mine fits me pretty well, if I do say so myself.

What I wore:
Two piece set: Lilly Pulitzer
Shoes: Jessica Simpson
Earrings: Kendra Scott

Did you go to a sorority formal? What did you wearl? Let me know in the comments!
