For our last day in Rome we decided to go into the Colosseum and go to the Roman Forum ruins. Before we left for our trip we booked our ticket for the Colosseum. I HIGHLY suggest doing this! We skipped the long line and didn't have to worry about money. We simply had our printed sheet and we went straight in. Also, they limit how many people can enter at a time. So, I suggest going in the morning so you know you can see it! 

Inside was just as amazing as the outside. For around 5 euro you could get a talking device that gave you information at different points. But, that is valuable shopping money so instead I listened in on an English speaking tour guide. However, if you want to get more information on the history of the monument it is probably worth getting one! 

After the Colosseum we ate lunch and then took a break at the apartment. We got some rest then went to explore the Roman Forum which is basically ruins from the ancient city of Rome. They are very cool and our ticket for the Colosseum got us into it. We didn't know that it did so it was a nice surprise! (aka look at what your ticket gets you...) 

Here are my friends Maggie and Sarah at the Colosseum! My OOTD is a Lilly Pulitzer casual dress and my J Crew green jacket that I wear EVERYWHERE. It's amazing. It's the perfect weight. 

For dinner we had an amazing gnocchi at the same restaurant we went on day 2 for dinner. What can I say it was amazing! We simply had to go back. It was the perfect place for dinner.

Inside the Anthropologie store! There was a huge leaf wall with amazing glass staircase. 

For my 6th weekend in London it was pretty relaxing! We went shopping around Oxford Circus, made some returns, ate yummy food, and found a Whole Foods. But, compared to most my weekends it was pretty relaxed. Normally our weekends are jam packed with things to do, so it was nice just to walk around, do some more exploring, and to eat some good food! So, here are a few snapshots from my 6th weekend in London!

Ted Baker is a London based brand that I have recently become obsessed with. There stores are amazingly gorgeous and I love there handbags, especially this red black and tan small bag!

My friend Maggie and I dined on a flat bread style pizza at Flat Planet. 

We also dined on some yummy Italian food in Christopher court which is an adorable area off of Oxford street with restaurants and shops. 

I found this Friday beer at Whole Foods that was perfectly suiting for a Friday night!

Lastly, I have been super into getting latees recently. If I order coffee somewhere I will always get one!

When in Rome! Hello again! I am living my Lizzie McGuire and Roman Holiday dreams as I adventured around Rome. For day two of our trip we hopped out of bed early and went on another free walking tour. We saw a lot of major landmarks that I hadn't really heard of before but everything was BEAUTIFUL. But, we saw the Pantheon which was so gorgeous. Although our tour guide the first day was better, it was nice being led to each sight and wondering not to far away to snap a few pictures then return to the group.  

One of our stops included this fountain which was so pretty!

This adorable bike was sitting outside a small shop and I had to snap a picture. I loved the bright colors and the lemons, yellow flowers, and purple flowers spilling out of the basket. 

Here is little me next to the HUGE Pantheon. To go inside is free so we wondered around and looked at the amazing detail inside the structure. 

I was obsessed with this blue building outside the Pantheon. I don't know why but I loved the powder blue color! 

We ate at this restaurant for lunch and it was AMAZING! So good! Everyone there was Italian including the customers which is a good sign. Our tour guide gave us a good tip: if it is dark and scary and doesn't have a huge menu posted in the front it's good. She said major tourist restaurants have GIANT menus in the front. So, look for anything without huge signs/ lights are you are probably good! We followed these rules for the rest of our trip and it worked perfectly.

I loved this window display for this one small shop. The clothes were super cool and they had cute bags made out of neoprene which were super unique.

For our Fashion History and Artifact class we travel around to different locations across London. A few weeks ago we took a trip to the Kenwood house in Stampstead which is slightly out of the city. It was amazing! If you are ever in London this is a great thing to do to have a little break from the bustling city. The house has a very deep history and is gorgeous inside. I specifically loved the library which had pastel pink and blue ceilings with white scroll accents. 

Throughout the whole house there were many portraits and works of art. But, the architecture of the house in itself was art. All of the rooms were painted in colorful hues and had many columns and crown moldings. So, here are some of my favorite shots from the Kenwood house!

Kenwood also has a wonderful green space/ park. From the house you have the perfect view of the entire city skyline.
