"Florals for spring, ground breaking." 

Another day, another link-up! Yesterday I stumbled upon this #MayFlowersLinkUp and I couldn't help but participate. Who doesn't love floral prints for spring? Miranda Priestly may not approve but this Miranda certainly does! 

For my floral look I paired this adorable floral and stripe tank with these black lace shorts. I love these shorts because they have a fun scallop detail which makes them super unique. A while back I snagged these shorts for only $10! What a steal! They are great for summer and spring because they go with a lot of pieces. 

I stuck with my favorite stack of the moment for today's look. It includes Alex and Ani bangles, KJP pearl bracelet, along with my Michael Kors watch. Also, I added a fun Kate Spade bow ring to complete my accessories! 

I love pairing prints with lace! It creates a unique combination rather then just plain solid shorts. Who doesn't love adding a little texture and depth to their looks? 

For "bad hair days" my simple fix is a high curly textured pony tail or a slicked back bun. Especially for finals and dead week I don't have time to do my hair every morning. So, simple solutions like this are critical for surviving the long week.

I love these bright pink Keds! These are actually my mom's from the 80's believe it or not. For some reason these sneakers are the most comfortable shoes that I own. Thanks to my mom for passing down these beauties to me!
