Go to a pumpkin patch or apple orchard: Although it's a little late, some pumpkin patches are still open for business! In Iowa the weather is still perfect, despite it being November, so it is ideal weather to pick out a pumpkin for Thanksgiving or get an apple cider donut.
Get coffee and order a seasonal drink: Hello holiday cups! Head to Starbucks and get a new holiday drink and sit and chat for a while.
Bake cookies and watch Stranger Things: Cookies + Netflix is the dream combo! Pick up a pack of those holiday Pillsbury cookies and put on Stranger Things for a fun night in. Feel free to substitute Stranger Things for a scary movie, but if you haven't watched Stranger things it is a must!!!
Go for a walk and look at the fall leaves: Be sure to take a walk and gaze at the fall colors before they disappear! My campus is full of gorgeous leaves that make the perfect walking route.
Have a bonfire: Cozy up to a warm bonfire and roast some marshmallows for a fun night under the stars.
