OOTD: I'm a Barbie Girl

I'm a Barbie girl in a Barbie world.... Did you start singing the song too? Today I'm sharing this fun 90's inspired outfit in honor of the Barbie Truck Tour that came to my area a few weekends ago.

The Barbie Truck Tour features this adorable Barbie pink van that tours around the country. They stopped in Chicago a few weekends ago and it was adorable. Naturally I had to go to snap some pictures! The bus usually stops at malls and shopping centers for the day. You can take pictures with the truck + purchase exclusive merchandise. I picked up some super cute patches featuring retro Barbie. But, there was a lot to choose from. From denim a jacket, patches, water bottle, and more so many cute items to pick up.

As for my outfit I went for a 90's retro vibe to mimic the vibe of the Barbie truck. I recently got this sherpa denim jacket from Tuckernuck and it is the perfect fall piece. Pairing it with a basic long sleeve tee keeps the look simple and comfy. This corduroy skirt is one of my favorite fall pieces. It is old but I will link similar options. I feel like corduroy is so in this fall, which I love. Who doesn't love a cord pant or skirt?

Of course I had to include a pop of pink into my outfit. I wore this adorable Lele Sadoughi heart headband for the occasion. It is a bright pink woven headband with mother of pearl heart embellishment. It is to die for. Then I tied it all together with my pink Gucci crossbody bag. It's slowly become my go-to designer purse!

What I wore:
Jacket: Levi's via Tuckernuck
Skirt: Forever 21
Boots: Cole Haan (similar) (similar)
Bag: Gucci
Headband: Lele Sadoughi
Location: Oakbrook Center
