OOTD: Soon it will be Christmas Day...

Christmas is officially over! Although I am sad to see all of the decorations come down and all of the festivities to start slowing down I have to say I had a fabulous holiday. I hope everyone had a great Christmas filled with lots of family and friends. Personally, I still have one Christmas party coming up but most people are calling it quits. But, here is my outfit of the day for Christmas day dinner.

For Christmas day we went out to my aunt and uncles house. They have horses and have a lot of great pastures around their property. I just love taking pictures there because its a nice break from the suburbs. Not to mention the fence was a great touch to the whole holiday ensemble I was wearing.

For my Christmas look I chose to be very festive. I wore a long sleeve plaid tee that I picked up this week with one of my favorite gold sequin skirts. To create a defined waist line I tied a simple black ribbon around my waist. In the end I kind of looked like a preppy present! (Which I was totally okay with)

If you know me at all I always wear my gifts right after I get them! Both of my necklaces and bracelets are all new Christmas gifts I received Christmas eve and morning. Just from wearing them today I can already tell you that I am obsessed. For Christmas I got two new necklaces that both feature some sort of monogram as well as two new KJP bracelets. My KJP bracelets might take the cake for favorite gift. I absolutely adore them!

For my other accessories I wore my go-to watch of the moment, Alex and Ani bangles, as well as my Kate Spade bow earrings along with the matching ring. To keep things simple on bottom I opted for plain black tights with black pumps. For inside I decided to wear my Tory Burch flats to be more comfortable.

Here I am sitting on my favorite couch of all time. I just love the vintage traditional feel of it!

Here are my two new KJP bracelets! I'm sporting their Sarah Vickers bow collection as well as their newer pearl collection. I loved the bow bracelet not only for the print but for the name! I mean I consider myself the future Miranda Priestly of my generation. I've been obsessed with the movie since about 3rd grade when I saw it in theaters so naturally I wanted this bracelet!

Here is the set up for our Christmas dinner! We ate my favorite meal which includes twice baked potatoes, prime rib, and yorkshire pudding (the bread looking stuff). Normally we always cook up this meal for Christmas! My aunt did a fabulous job with decorating the table also! She created name card holders out of candy canes for a personal touch.
