Happy Valentines Day

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!
So, its that day of the year again. Wether you are celebrating with your man or having a Galentine's day it's the perfect excuse to get some candy and watch a sappy movie.
I have never been a fan of valentines day. I'm always single (lol) so I just find it annoying. In the past I have just stayed and home and done nothing. Last year I did have a boyfriend and I didn't think it was all that exciting. I don't know but I think people take it a little to far sometimes. I mean giant puppy or bear stuffed animals are cool and all but I'd rather get some candy and a rose. But, yet again I have simple needs.

However, this year I decided to embrace being single of Valentine's day! I am just going to hang with my gal pals and eat candy and watch movies! No matter what I think that you should at least "treat your self" on valentines day in some way.

How I would treat myself......
From bras, nail polish, or a dainty ring treat yourself with something this Valentine's day! No matter how big or small its nice to treat yourself every once and a while.

And if you are sad you are single on Valentine's day.........There is no reason to be sad! Be happy and read some funny cards or something. Here are a few of my favorites I have found:

{But actually can this be a thing? Yes? No?}

{Frozen is my favorite. Olaf will you be my valentine?}

{PREACH GIRL! Galentine's day is the best day of the year! So grab your girlfriends and go out!}

Hope you have a fab Valentine's or Galentine's day!

OOTD: A Fashionista's Casual

September 8th, 2013:

The Outfit: Today I kept things super casual. However, I still wanted to look presentable of course. I paired my Mood Project Runway t-shirt with simple black high waisted shorts. Accessorizing the look with a statement necklace and topknot I added a little sophistication to the look. With the right accessories you can turn your jeans and tee look into something more stylish.

Also, in my look I featured my Rent the Runway water bottle! If you haven't signed up for Rent the Runway SIGN UP! Go to www.renttherunway.com/student if you are a student to sign up!

Where it's from:
T-Shirt: Mood store in NY
Shorts: American Eagle
Ring: Kate Spade
Necklace: Target
Shoes: Target

Project Runway Thursday

Project Runway Thursday:
Lexus Team Challenge

Hey guys! So this is a new series I want to start. Basically I will react to one of my favorite fashion shows Project Runway! I will list the challenge my favorite team and what I thought about everything that happened.

Challenge: Unconventional. Use materials from vintage wallpaper shop, grocery, or party/ home good store. Teams of 3.
Favorite team: Kate's team was really creative and innovative. They ended up being the top team so I guess I have a good opinion.
Favorite look: I really loved Kate's look and the british guys look. (I am bad with names this season for some reason). They were both innovative, unique, and used the materials in a way that disguises them. Overall there whole collection was super chic and sophisticated. You can clearly see there inspiration and they pulled it off.
Drama queen: Ken. I guess I should say drama king in this case. He was being over dramatic to the MAX. Instead of working with his team all he did was diss them. I like his work but he was being over the top this week! Snap out of it Ken!
Who left: I agree with the judges. I think she should have gone home along time ago. She can't even sew like what the heck!
WTF moment: Sandro randomly pops up! What the heck. Luckily he was just saying goodbye and explaining the situation. So, I guess that is good.
