Smokey Mountains 

Here are some pictures from my awesome trip to Tennessee and the Smokey Mountains. I also visited a friend in Knoxville so some of these shots are from there. I fully embraced the southern lifestyle while I was there. I could honestly see myself living there in the future! Who doesn't love sweet tea, slow pace lifestyle, and biscuits? (The trip made me question why I didn't go to school in the south!)

Some shots of Market Square in Knoxville. It was full of cute little restaurants and boutiques. Adorable is an understatement! The city was super cool because it was very souther and preppy but also very eclectic and boho. In other words it was a very cool place!

Here are some views from our super cool cabin we had for a few days. I have never seen such a beautiful view. These mountains are gorgeous. However, driving up the hills to get to our cabin was a bit of a nail bitter.

A trip wouldn't be complete without a "throw up what you know up" picture right? I will say this one is an amazing view so I think its acceptable. 

I also sported this new Fraternity Collection tank for the first time on my trip. I am in love with it! Its super cute but oh so comfortable. 

Lately I have been obsessed with monograms. Yet again what else is new. But, I have picked some of my favorite monogram items from a variety of different places to share with you! So if you are in need of some monograms in your life that check out these fabulous products and stores/ shops! 

A monogram baseball hat: I am always wearing baseball hats. Naturally I had to get a monogrammed one! I have a simple black baseball hat with white embroidery. It is from Marley Lilly which is one of my favorite places for monograms! They have a great variety of things and they have great flash sales so look out for them!

Monogrammed puffer vest: If you live somewhere cold like me a vest is a must have! I bought a black and white monogramed puffer vest from Marley Lilly and I wear it all the time. This is for sure a must have for me.

Classic monogram necklace: I think every girl needs a monogram necklace. Currently I am in need of a super nice one but that is for sure on my birthday list! But, this one from baublebar is gorgeous and my friend has it and it seems to made very well. It is a little pricey but I think that it is worth it because it goes with everything! Personally I am a gold girl but silver is always a nice option.

Monogram laptop sticker: College students are all about stickers on their laptops. My laptop is literally covered! One of my stickers is a monogram of course! So here is a super cheap sticker to jazz up your laptop or anything else you can stick a sticker too. There are a lot of places on Etsy that sell these types of stickers so you can find a style, price, and color for your own preferences.

OOTD: Mint and Chevron

The Outfit: This outfit is very J Crew inspired. I paired a black and white chevron top with mint green chino pants. Accessorizing with a fringe fan statement necklace and small bow touches I wanted to show off my ultra girly side. I would call this look chic and classic with a fun twist. The purple heels add a little bit of quirk to the otherwise very classic look. Overall, I love everything about this look!

Today I want to show you some of my favorite pieces from the Lilly Pulitzer Fall 2013 collection. This collection is so amazing. I love the bright colors, bold prints, and the classic silhouettes. The legacy of Lilly Pulitzer will definitely live on because of this fabulous collection. 

This look is so chic and classic. The bright pink blazer and top are balanced out with the super cute and girly lace shorts. Also this look would be super easy to re-create if you can't afford Lilly Pulitzer (Which I know I can't! But it never hurts to admire from afar.) Just pair a bright blazer or even a black one with fun flirty lace shorts. 

This dress is super bright and fun. I am obsessed with everything chevron so the print is super appealing to me. The colors are bright but they sill work for the fall season. If you paired this dress with some tall boots and a sweater it would be perfect for a cool fall night. 

This black lace dress is stunning. I love the detail on the hem and on the sleeves. Overall it is a classic little black dress that would work for a lot of different types of women. Also, I think you could either dress this up or down. Wear it with a pair of flats and a jean jacket for a more casual look. Or pair it with heels and pearls as you see in the picture for a more formal look. 

This turquoise dress on the right I think has a super cute vintage vibe. It reminds me a lot of the fifties/ sixties. I also really like the butterfly pattern. It's girly and feminine without being overpowering. 

This classic american designer will live her legacy on for years to come.
