OOTD: Valentines Day

So, yesterday was Valentines day... Although I may not be a fan I still dress festive! Hey I can't durn down a fun themed look. This outfit included a super cute chiffon peplum top with a pleated bottom. It has capped sleeves and a mock neckline. I paired it with a black cropped blazer to one keep me warm and then to add a little bit of class to the look. Then for practical reasons I wore my Hunter rain boots because it was a blizzard outside today!

For accessories I wore my arrow necklace and a BCBG love themed bracelet. I think its fun to add small touches of Valentines day cheer to get in the festive mood.

OOTD: Pink Kicks

OOTD: Pink Kicks

This outfit I centered around my new pink heels. I picked these heels up at Nordstrom Rack for an amazing $10! It was a great deal and I had been eyeing them for quite some time now. They have a metallic pink ankle strap and a patterned heel. For as unique as they are I think I will be able to spice up a lot of dresses and outfits with these shoes.

Wearing a fun pair of shoes can change your outlook on life. Well, maybe not. But they can for sure brighten up your day! So, if you find a cute pair of colorful heels or shoes don't be afraid to buy them. Look for some on sale so they aren't to big of an investment. Every girl needs a fun pair of heels in their closet. It will help you mix up your outfits and step outside of the black or nude pumps every once and awhile.

{Also, this look was inspired by Blair Waldorf, of course. My new obsession is watching Gossip Girl on Netflix and I just slowly find myself turning into Blair. Which I am a 100% okay with.}

With the dress I wore my Topshop cut out dress. However it is winter now so I put on a black blazer and tights to make it more season appropriate. My accessories included a chunky square statement necklace and a few bangles and my BCBG fierce bracelet.

OOTN: Formal Dinner and First Chapter

OOTN: Formal Dinner and First Chapter

The chevron obsession continues...

This was my outfit for a formal sorority dinner along with my first ever chapter meeting as a initiated member.

I wore this chevron patterned dress paired with my trusty blazer. Around my neck I wore this super chunky and oversized clear necklace. It fills up the empty space around my neck to balance out my outfit.

Adding the socks and heels add a little playfulness to the outfit. Also, it adds an extra level of chic-ness.

My accessories included Mary jane heels, a mouse watch, a clear statement necklace, and a small stack of bangles.

OOTD: What I Wore To An Interview

OOTD: What I Wore To An Interview

As you may have guessed I'm not the dress slacks and a blazer type of girl. I had an interview for a club a few days ago and I thought I would show you my business professional wear.

The Outfit: My outfit consisted of a few basic pieces with really bold pieces. The first bold piece was a lime green pencil skirt. It has a peplum detail and is very Coco Chanel if you ask me. With a sparkly hint to the fabric it adds a little something extra without being obnoxious. I paired this bold skirt with a simple peter pan color top and a black blazer. Along with that I paired a Topshop statement necklace. The piece adds a bit of edge to the "sexy secretary" look. Then to finish the look off I wore my bright purple heels. These heels are not only comfortable but also very retro and chic. Of course, I had to throw in my glasses because they really do make me look smarter.
