OOTD: Stripes and Such
During finals week I still wanted to look put together but comfy. In my opinion the motto "Look good feel good" is a fabulous way to live by. So, during my exams since high school I have always worn dresses or a cute outfit. Then again I was the girl who showed up to school in heels and a dress or skirt everyday, but thats besides the point.
My biggest tip is to ditch the sweat pants and opt for a comfy pair of jeggings. They are just as comfortable, in my opinion, but they look a heck lot better! In general you will feel more put together with a cute outfit compared to a random sweatshirt and pair of sweatpants that you found on your floor.
For my outfit I paired this super cute striped top with a simple pair of jeans. This top has a unique silhouette and I like how the sleeves flare out a bit. It is super nautical which is an upcoming trend. I paired the simple look with my favorite necklace of all time (I basically wear it everyday it seems like) and a classic pair of brown boots.
Another tip I have for a final exam look is to take the time to do your hair or makeup. I think if you look good then you will feel more confident in yourself before taking the exam. Because if you skip these normal steps you might have a freak out something like... "I can't believe I left the house like this" or "Why do I look like death?". You can avoid these panic attacks! Simple wake up a few minutes early and look at your flash cards or study materials as you curl your hair. I have done this many of times and you can review and get ready at the same time!
