Preppy Diaries: Chinos and Tiffany Blue

Day three of my internship called for some chinos! It was super cold and gross outside so I skipped out on wearing a skirt and wore a this fun pair of patterned chinos. It features navy, magenta pink, white and a light tiffany blue color. So, I paired the pants with a robin egg blue cardigan and a denim button down. For shoes I stole my Mom's Tory Burch Reva flats. These flats are on my wish list for my birthday so we will have to see if that happens! {Until then though I can steal hers :)} For accessories I simply wore a crystal statement necklace, my classic gold watch, and my favorite Alex and Ani bangles of the moment.

OOTD: Tiffany Blue and Polka Dots

Polka dots and Tiffany blue
Today features a fun pair of navy polka dot pants and a bright Tiffany blue sweater. These pants are super fun and not to mention comfortable. I would consider them a classy sweat pant. For accessories I wore my Tiffany blue rosette necklace to add a bold statement. On my feet I wore my classic pair of neutral Sperry Top Sider boat shoes. This look was super fun, preppy, and comfortable!

Remember, you CAN look cute and comfy! Resist the urge to wear the sweatpants!

7 Days of Accessories: Tiffany and Co.

7 Days of Accessories: Tiffany and Co.

Tiffany is a classic jewelry store. Some may think that all Tiffany jewelry comes with a hefty price tag. But, not all pieces are worth $1,000. These pieces are almost all less then $200!

These two rings are super pretty. Infinity signs are super in style recently. So, why not have a ring that will last forever. This would also make a great gift for a long time bestie in your life. Then this simple ring is a great addition to have on your hand.

I know this necklace will be on a up and coming wish list! Got to love an arrow necklace to represent my sorority Pi Beta Phi.

These two pieces are great classics. A silver beaded bracelet and initial necklace will go with anything.
These two pieces are also great options. I love the simplicity of the silver studs. Also, the finish of this ring is very unique. Almost like a rose gold color.

My personal picks! I own these two pieces and they are both super cute. Both of these are around $150 which is a great deal for a Tiffany gift. I love how both have the iconic Tiffany blue color incorporated into the pieces.

Can we please talk about how adorable this owl key ring is???

Be sure to check out Tiffany and Co. for some classic gifts for the most important people in your life.

OOTD: Bows and Tiffany Blue

OOTD: Bows and Tiffany Blue
This look is super girly and very simple in my opinion. I wore a Tiffany blue dress paired with thick sweater tights. Sweater tights are a super easy way to wear a dress but stay warm.

Along with it I wore a grey and white bow scarf. The pattern adds a super cute touch to the otherwise simple look. Scarfs are also a great accessory to keep yourself warm. Bundle up!

My accessories include pearl studs, a stack of bangles, and black ballet flats. The flats have a bow detail on the toe which ties into the bow theme of the outfit.

Overall, with this look I wanted to be girly and simple.

A fresh coat of nail polish calls for a picture. This is Essie's Play Date!

OOTD: Polka Dots

July 28th, 2013:

Today, my family and I went to a Spanish restaurant. It being a Spanish style restaurant we ordered a lot of Tapas they call them. In other words we had a lot of little dishes which made on big meal. I was kind of hesitant at first but it was super yummy!

Also, today my Mom and I went college shopping at Target. We were in there for about 2 hours. Yes you can spend 2 hours in Target. I got a TON of things that I really needed to get. Such as sheets, bed bug protector, memory foam pad, and a bunch of little things. My dorm theme (well my side of the dorm) is the color scheme of purple, grey, black, and white. So that is the direction I am going. Purple is my favorite color so I have to do that color of course. I will for sure do a whole thing on my dorm once I set everything up at my school.

The Outfit: It is still cold in Chicago! Omg! But, it wasn't too bad today. All I needed was this denim jacket over this super cute dress. I originally had flats on but I had to switch for dinner to be a little more fancy. This dress is super light and easy and really comfortable.

Jacket: American Eagle
Dress: Akira
Shoes: Steve Madden
Wedges: Guess
Necklace: Dry Goods
Bracelets: Tiffany and Co., Dry Goods, Charming Charlie's, and Alex and Ani
Purse: Michael Kors

Side note: Aren't my brother's shoes so chic! I love them. He was pretty proud of himself when he bought them.
